a mysterious individual known only as The Employer invited a group of twenty people to a desolate location at the end of a town in the Nevada desert. Upon arriving, it became clear they had been lured to play a deadly game that would pit their wits against eachother.

Most didn't survive the challenge. The few who did were never heard from again. The only evidence of this event was a written warning by one of the players before vanishing without a trace: "believe nothing you hear and only half that you see".
